Shuichi grimaces. Poe starts panicking and failing at making excuses about their kiss session last night. Geez, these are the same two who are in charge of finding Shuichi’s true home— if it even existed. He finishes Karl’s bagel and works on his breakfast while Poe and Edogawa finally settle down for breakfast and talked about whatever. Just the four of them together and enjoying their morning.
No weird bears, no impending deaths, it was a normal morning with three detectives and a raccoon.

Worries aside (or so they believe), Ranpo returned, it’s fine for now. They leave one of their many writing rooms and meet Ranpo at the doorway. The detective throws their shoes by Poe’s boots and shakes their soaked umbrella on the tile. No traces of injuries, excellent sign. “Hey,” they grunt.
No greeting in response, Poe instantly questions them. “What are you doing here?”“Eh? Is there a problem?” Ranpo crosses his arms, “me stopping by isn’t new.”
