Summary
It was, admittedly, not Alex’s best moment. There had been one occasion in grade nine where he projectile vomited all over a stack of protractors in geometry, to the horror of his onlooking classmates, and even this was outshined completely by what Alex had gotten himself into now.
Everyone was watching—the wedding guests, the camera operators, the cameras, Henry’s soon-to-be wife, Henry—and Alex was standing up, objecting to Henry’s marrying a Spanish princess. His palms were sweating, his heart was pounding, and his mouth was moving without his permission. Basically, he was completely and totally fucked.
But it’ll be worth every knee-knocking second—so long as Henry says yes.
