Summary
For the first time since Sammy, Dean feels like that vulnerability he has felt since then is somewhat glorified here - like it’s meant to be a fixture inside of Dean, not a parasitic feeling that, ironically, weakens him. It’s accepted here, and Dean feels as though it’s nothing to be ashamed about anymore.
At least with Cas it isn’t.

Summary
Who knew Methadone, a pain reliever Hizashi wasn't familiar with, could cause so much harm? After accidentally causing Shouta to overdose on Methadone, Hizashi is blindsided to his friend's growing problem.
The pills help Shouta sleep, but they're also causing a lot more physical health problems than he cares to acknowledge and connect to the Methadone. Sometimes, Shouta has to hit the ground hard enough to realise he started falling in the first place. Good thing Hizashi is always out there to help him back up.Not your typical addiction fic. There won't be much focus on the addiction itself, more on the side effects. In fact, it's not really an addiction fic at all.
