Summary
Geralt put a hand on his back to brace him, using his other hand to tilt Jaskier’s head back. Jaskier got the hint and opened his mouth, inhaling as Geralt breathed into him, heart fluttering at the intimacy.
His lungs filled with the borrowed smoke, burning a bit, but it was nothing compared to the burning he’d felt earlier and it was nothing compared to the burning pain he so often felt in his hands. He held his breath, letting the smoke roll around and toast his lungs, closing his eyes when he felt it hit —
He opened his eyes and puffed out his breath, feeling fuzzy. It was better than poppy milk.
He met Geralt’s eyes, Geralt grinning as he saw Jaskier’s reaction.
“Holy shit fuck, mother of Melitele’s tits, where has this been all my life?” Jaskier bemoaned.
They split the rest of the joint that way, trading breaths until Jaskier was able to take a full hit and return the favor.
