She doesn’t answer Harrow’s calling with some blinding light entrance, with angels singing or flowers blooming. It’s just her. One moment Harrowhark is alone, hands clasped tightly and knees bruised from the repeated kneeling, and the next Ianthe is there leaning against the altar, an hand idly playing with her white shawl and gaze fixed on Harrow.
