Summary
These two stories have been sitting in my google docs app for a couple of months, gathering dust. But since I recently remembered them, now’s a good time as any to post them lest they be forgotten entirely. Originally I was supposed to write one alternate ending for Roald Dahl’s Lamb to the slaughter for school, but I made two instead. They begin from line 245 of the original story and branch out to an unfathomable degree of divergence. I do hope you enjoy!

This is mainly a MaineWash fic, with a bonus "What if Maine and Wash got Eta and Iota instead of Epsilon and Sigma" added into it along with a cascade ripple effect of what-ifs. How these differences play out and change things, hopefully for the better? Who can say?
...Well, I can. Since I'm telling you this story. Hopefully it'll be a happy one, because the original tale was so bittersweet.

Summary
Old memories came back and the other fragments were along for the ride. For the most part, Epsilon wrote them off as memories of the siblings...that he’d never gotten to meet...but that all somehow had very clear identities. Okay. It was pretty obvious that they were something more.
