Summary
On record, Hermione Granger was an overworked and underpaid attorney for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, taking mostly cases involving the mistreatment and abuse of magical creatures. Her ten, sometimes twelve hour days started promptly at 7:30 am, her brisk walk across the Ministry atrium in her sensible work heels blissfully quiet before the morning rush of witches and wizards turned the cavernous space into chaos.
Off record, however, was a different story entirely.
Leave it to Draco Malfoy to barge in and tip the scales on the precarious balance she has on her life.
[Or: Hermione Granger, disappointed and disheartened by the sluggish and antiquated way the Ministry of Magic handles Death Eaters and sympathizers, takes matters into her own hands. Draco Malfoy, never one to mind his own business, inserts himself into her narrative.]

Summary
Hermione adores fire—the hypnotic way it dances, constantly changing shape and burning everything in its path. She admires the tenacity and ferocity it symbolizes. But getting too close can hurt. And by God, Draco Malfoy hurts like a bitch.
This story spans their 6th year at Hogwarts, the war, and the challenging aftermath. Will Hermione be the making of Draco, or will he be her ruin? A tale of angst, slow-burning romance, and second chances.

Peter Pettigrew has common sense and knows that a vengeful genius outcast from Slytherin is something everyone should avoid to create. Unfortunately, his peers are not so insightful.
Oh, look at that, he might be getting attached. Ah well. If you got skin in the game, you stay in the game.

Summary
He had plenty of time on his hands. That, coupled with the boredom that came from the isolation left him itching to do something. Weasley’s bumbling nature with his too-big feet and gangly limbs…Potter’s ability to get away with anything, and Granger’s piercing laugh… That was aggravating enough and he wasn’t sure how much more of it he could put up with. Now though…a new idea was forming in his mind, and one he hadn’t given much merit until now.
He did owe the trio one for taking his peace of mind, for ruining his chance of happiness and freedom. He had that particular favour to return to them.
Draco Malfoy did not like owing anyone anything, after all. No true Slytherin ever did.
And as for him?
Well.
He was a Slytherin through and through.

She’s insensitive and completely psycho, but he wishes he could join her there, if only for a moment. Any relationship you have in a cellar isn’t exactly transplantable upon re-entry into society.
The Draco/Luna 8th year fic. Plus as much Pansy as I can manage to fit in.
