Summary
Barely surviving the wrath of the Dark Misstress, Nevri has fled to Solstheim. But a new fight for survival begins for Nevri, driving her back to Skyrim. When Morotar wakes up, he is disorientated. On a peak in the Velothi Mountains, surrounded by a cult, he regains consciousness - with no memory of how he got there. Only slowly do the memories of his past return. Welcomed with open arms at the Thalmor Embassy, he has to find out why he disappeared for months. There is only one clue - a black-haired Dunmer woman whose glowing ruby eyes haunt his dreams time and again. What does she have to do with his vanishing?

Nevri has decided to make some dinner at Honeyside and Morotar joins her. He is utterly unpleased with her way of cooking and lets her know that, so she rubs salt in his wounds. Before she knows, she finds herself bend over the kitchen counter.
“You have been acting up a bit too much lately, have you?” he muttered under his breath. Even he was struggling with the expectation, the one that brought a jitter to Nevri’s knees.
“Have I?” she asked, sounding as if she was innocence in person.
Slap.
The first hit came down on her skin, burned. She twitched under the pain, the shock of it rocking through her entire body. Her chest rubbed over the counter with it and she let out a whimper barely audible for him.
“You have. Say it. Tell me that you’ve been acting like a brat.” He huffed while he spoke and his grip around her hair tightened, pulled at the roots.
“Why would I, if I haven’t?” Nevri could not suppress a chuckle.
Slap.
Another hit met her butt, this time burning harder. He had used more force, yet knowing well that she could take more. A lot more.

Nevri isn't particularly keen on going to a ball hosted by Morotar's family clan. So, she dawdles around in the shared bedroom until Morotar finds her there.
“You did tell me that this evening is a small gathering, told me that there would almost no one would be there, perhaps ten people at most. And here we are,” she rocked against him once more, his grip on her hips tightened, fingers burying in flesh. “I am put in some fancy dressing gown, my face is no longer recognisable as much makeup as they put on me and I’m to wear the family jewellery. Everyone is speaking of a ball – I never heard that before.”
“I may have understated that a little. Ten is not the number of people that will attend. And this is not only dinner,” he admitted now, a groan mingling in. He pressed her onto him, moved her along with his motions.
“Morotar, I have no idea how to dance,” she uttered under her breath, her hands rising and burying in his silver strands, lightly pulling at the roots.
“Oh, you’re good at fucking, it’s basically the same, just dressed,” he muttered and buried his mouth in the hollow of her neck, kissing and biting.
