“Did you just speak, Bee?” John asks as if she could answer, voice quiet and full of awe. “Go on, love. Say it again. Who am I?”
“Dada,” Phoebe repeats, voice clearer this time as she smiles up at John. “Dada!”
John spends a slow, early autumn day with his girl (and Archie).
