Solas's world does not change when he first meets Ian, an otherwise unremarkable recruit the Herald finds in Redcliffe's Chantry. Neither does Ian's change when he meets Solas, who regards him with the suspicion he has come to expect from other elves. Yet at this intersection of identity, they find a crossroads; a place to grow together.
A retelling of Dragon Age: Inquisition from the perspective of Solas, the deceptively simple Fade expert, and Ian, a veteran of the Fifth Blight, returned to Ferelden after ten years abroad.

Summary
