Summary
Halt, seventeen years old, ran away from home. He couldn't stay there any longer. It would be a death sentence.
Lost, hurt, full of doubts, he wanders without knowing where to go. Until he meets Pritchard, who offers to take care of his injuries, and who ends up taking this traumatised teenager under his wing.
Their road to trust isn't an easy one. Halt's childhood haunts him, he has never known a proper home and doesn't know how to get one. Pritchard longs for his former home, unable to give that name to this new kingdom. Maybe they'll come to realise that the home they're looking for isn't as far away as they think.
