Summary
Alear considers her reading from Seadall of a pleasant encounter on the horizon for her as she walks the Somniel. When she finds Fogado at Lookout Ridge, she is convinced this is the encounter. For a fleeting moment, she wished she had the pact ring with her. The ring she wanted to offer to him.
“Hello, Fogado,” Alear softly greeted as she neared him.
“Greetings, Divine One,” he returned with a smile.
