Well, this is a fanfic about the Zombies in PvZ, Foot Soldier has a nightmare, wakes up and tries to go back to sleep, but accidentally wakes up TV Head. There are lots of shenanigans at play. Will update tags as I go. There are a lot of head canons in this, sorry in advance.

Summary
Everybody assumes that the zombies are mindless creatures, with a desire to serve Zomboss and eat brains. And to an extent, they can be. But inside, they're still alive. They still have memories of older times, as well. Zombies don't tend to talk about these pasts, as they're supposed to just forget about them. But one zombie, however, just can't let it go.
Captain Deadbeard has always been a lonely zombie. He sits in the back, where he shoots Plants from a distance. However, sometimes the burden of only having himself and his Parrot Pal, Polly, by his side has always hurt the captain. There's never a day he doesn't miss his old Pirate Crew.
However, when two new friends show up by his side, perhaps things can change.
