William Benn. Usually known as Mr Benn. On the surface a respectable Englishman still wearing a classic suit, tie, and hat to work. In reality, a traveller of space and time, an arch-adventurer, maybe even a slight adrenaline fiend. The Hulk. Usually known as the Hulk, or oftentimes 'aaaaagh!'. On the surface a large, insanely muscular, angry green man wearing only his shorts. In reality, a manifestation of repressed anger and trauma made manifest, and yet also a deeply sensitive and excitable person waiting to be shown the wonders of the cosmos. Together, they travel through space and time and fight crime. And robots. And generally suspect entities of various kinds.
