Although Yashasvi Jaiswal hit a good number of runs that match, Mitchell Starc gave right back to him in the next test match,by getting him out in both the innings,the first one being on the first ball of the day.
(Note: Mitchell Starc is not married in this, although I am in love with the couple, it's just an accommodation for the story)

the first day patrick james cummins walks into his english class, shubman nearly drools. somehow the rumours of a white professor—a guest lecturer visiting from australia—escaped his radar, but goddamn if he isn’t one of the lucky ones to get him as a professor! pat is incredible. he’s well spoken and intelligent and teaches them english, their second or third language, in a way they all understand. and on top of that, he’s tall and handsome and has the bluest eyes shubman’s ever seen.
which, of course, isn’t relevant to his teaching, but certainly affects how much the students pay attention to him—his teaching, that is. definitely affects how shubman pays attention.
