Summary
It is two o’clock in the morning, and Phee is awake.
She isn’t supposed to be, she knows that much. Humans sleep approximately between the hours of ten o’clock at night and seven o’clock in the morning based on the Earth time system, unless they’re Waverly Holloway, in which case they stay up until midnight. Usually. She fell asleep early last night. But Phee doesn’t want to think about Waverly right now, not when the floor is still damp and she’s wrapped in a towel on her bed.
This wasn’t supposed to happen again.
