Summary
Don’t stay in hell longer than you have to. Whatever Barker had meant by that — he honestly wasn’t sure. FS’s link remained constant in his mind, filling that BT-shaped hole in all the wrong ways.
He didn’t know what hell was really like, but he imagined this was probably it.
Everything's in place for Jack to become a Pilot — officially, this time around. But getting certified means linking with a new Titan, and he can't help that feeling of betrayal deep in his gut.
Maybe he wasn't cut out for Pilot life after all.
