Summary
It all started with a single moment—locked eyes across the room. Seong Gi-hun and Hwang In-ho found themselves in the same graduate program at a prestigious university in the United States. The difference between them? In-ho was naturally gifted, able to breeze through his coursework without much effort, while Gi-hun had to put in the hours, working tirelessly to earn his grades. Despite their contrasting paths to graduate school, there was an undeniable pull between them—subtle at first, almost unnoticeable, like an invisible thread that seemed to bind them. It wasn’t a rush of instant attraction, but rather a slow build, the kind that lingers quietly in the background, growing stronger with each passing interaction. As days turned into weeks, the connection between them deepened. But with the weight of graduate school bearing down on them, would the stress unravel what was slowly building between them? Or could they find a way to navigate the pressures, allowing their bond to strengthen in ways neither of them expected?
