Moon had dealt with nightmares of Jade Mountain falling and everyone around her dying for months. But as much they hurt her, those nightmares served a purpose. Without them, her and her friends would have never been able to stop the mountain from falling. Now that the prophecy had been avoided, the nightmares about it had stopped.
Now they were replaced by entirely new ones. But these ones didn't warn her about potentially terrible futures. No, these were about the past.
Or, Moon has a nightmare about the night Kinkajou almost died.
