The Intricate Markings Of Outworld.
This will be a headcanon series surrounding Erron and Ermac's relationship, with a prompt or headcanon per chapter. Follows the dynamic of the fanon Kotal Krew (Kotal, Reptile, Erron, Ermac, Ferra & Torr, and D'Vorah at times but mostly after she betrayed the Krew). Follows prior to, throughout, and after MKX events, with tiny bits from MK11 and MK1. Some chapters follow up others, but ideally all have individual ideas for the most part.
[EDITED] This series of prompts and headcanons has evolved into a plot, but it provides the foundation for more prompts and headcanons to happen.

Cassandra Cage was over the moon with the developments in her parents’ relationship. What began as a “we’re going to be amicable and work together” eventually turned into friendship, which grew into a second chance romance, and finally found its natural conclusion when Johnny Cage dropped to his knee with a new engagement ring.
Cassie immediately named herself the official party planner. She wanted her parents to have the day they deserved; It monopolized her every waking moment.
Which meant that it monopolized theirs, too.
So, a quiet night at the Cage/Blade residence quickly turned into another planning session, one which sent Cassandra on a quest.
“Well?” Cass looked between them. “We can’t have a re-wedding without a re-wedding song!”

Summary
After Erron and Ermac's adventures in Earthrealm, hosted by Johnny and Cassie, the emperor returns the favour by allowing the Cages to seek a deeper comprehrension of Outworld's culture, beyond their previously sour experiences and conflictive history. Johnny and Erron pick back up the tension they left in Earthrealm, Cassie meets a friendly Outworlder woman who surpasses her expectations, and Ermac is forced to take care of them all to an exhaustive extent. Eventually, both parties realise that like their time in Earthrealm, there are many similarities and differences through their chaotic adventures.
Will Johnny and Cage's two-day trip be less hectic than the last time? Doubtful. Will they enjoy it nonetheless? Very much so. And Johnny almost captures every second of it on his camera.

Summary
Erron and Ermac are tasked with seeking a deeper comprehension of Earthrealm's culture, beyond the face-value gadgets often seen by the Dragon clans, and past all of the Earthrealmer profanity. Erron is bitter over how much his realm has changed, while his ghostly partner is taken aback by many aspects. Johnny and Cassie are their hosts, daringly placing them all in an ordinary hotel to fully experience how one would roll in the US. Soon, both parties begin to realise the similarities and differences through their intensifying adventures.
How chaotic can a two-day trip be?
At times, the characters refer to moments from The Intricate Markings Of Outworld (more details of this are explained in this fic's beginning note).

Erron Black and Ermac knew each other from the inside out; thousands of souls would not get in the way of that for the mercenary, whom loved every single soul, and Erron's Earthrealmer mannerisms did not off put the construct in the slightest. Only alternative circumstances, out of their control, could force apart their hot and bothered bodies, until they sought out a time to rectify that.
Unfortunately, one of the Kombat Kids gets wrapped up into the couple's behind-the-scenes.
