Tanjiro rose a hand to pat Nezuko on her head lightly, nodding. “Yeah. Honestly, it amazes me how quickly nature does its work.” The 15-year-old smiled, deep crimson eyes scanning up and down the wooden house.
Inosuke wasn’t really paying attention, only caring about the surroundings, checking for demons.
Nezuko felt her brother’s hand slip away, and she turned to look at him. “Mm?” she cocked a brow, watching as Tanjiro seemingly zoned out, all within seconds of talking not even less than a minute before. A gentle tap to the shoulder is what she tried, but got no response from him.
“Did your parents build this on their- Tanjiro?” Zenitsu began, but stopped as he noticed the other begin to blink rather rapidly, stumbling a little. Tanjiro’s eyes rolled back in his head, only the whites visible now, his fingers twitching as he collapsed to the ground.
Nezuko hopped back in surprise, both her and Zenitsu’s eyes widening. “TANJIRO!” yelled the blonde, racing to his friend’s aid, shaking him and hoping he’d wake up.
