Lotor mistakenly believes that Lance, acting as a spy for the Galra, has killed Keith, and invites him to return to the Empire with him. Team Voltron uses this to their advantage.
“You finally get to return to your real people, Blue Paladin. You no longer have to run around with those…scumbags? Is that a term they use on Earth to describe the lowest filth they can think of?”
Recognition seemed to dawn on the Blue Paladin’s face.
“Oh! Right—well, I’m…not quite finished with my mission,” the Paladin said, returning his bayard to his side. He bent down and yanked up the Red Paladin, “I, uh—have to get rid of him myself, you know? Make sure he’s really dead and all that.
