Samuel’s head whips around, that gleeful voice calling from just behind him. He looks to see…
Oh, God.
A man in a dirty black cloak sits on Rose’s cot. A man with a gleeful smirk is in his room. A man that Samuel knows, who left him wondering if he’d lost his mind, is smirking languidly as he reclines on Rose’s bed like a cat, limbs sprawled out on that bed. Like he knows exactly where he is, and exactly how much of a violation it is.

A woman holding a black bottle, swirling with golden rum inside of it, face cold and stony. There are slight, ever-so-slight, grey streaks in her hair.
