Echo Lance is worried.
Not about herself. To the dismay of her loved ones, she never seems to worry about herself.
She’s worried about Leon and Sonia. They’ve been working so hard and they both really deserve a break, but Rose has been working them both to the bone, making Sonia go on a bunch of historical research quests and making Leon do dumb Champion things, like sponsor deals and whatnot. How much longer until they break?
She’s worried about Hop. She knows he’ll do great, but she’s worried about him. She’s worried if he’ll take care of himself while he’s out catching and training Pokémon. She’s worried about him losing too many times and getting disheartened.
It’s easy to worry about the people you love, but never easy to worry about yourself.
Hop normally does that for her.
But one thing’s for sure, no matter what happens, Echo will protect what’s hers.
