It wasn't Grantaire's business if Enjolras wanted to start fights he couldn't finish. It absolutely wasn't.
Which is how he ended up breaking a man's nose and getting kicked out of yet another bar, trying to figure out where the hell Enjolras lived so he could take him home and move on with his night.

Enjolras was a uniformed prep boy, who loves politics. While Grantaire was a messy, tattooed, artist, obsessed with vinyl records. Because of the difference in their personalities, they despised each other. Enjolras just wishes Grantaire would go back to public school where he belonged, but Grantaire had other things in mind.

When Les Amis need a musical act for their rally, Enjolras reluctantly agrees to work with a local, up and coming punk band fronted by the most frustrating man he has ever met. But then, Enjolras starts having dreams about Grantaire that are . . . less than ideal, throwing a wrench into the relatively stable life he had before Grantaire flounced in with his too tight pants and intoxicating stage presence. Grantaire, on the other hand, has nothing to prove, and he isn't at all self-destructive, though it would be nice if he could hold a single conversation with Enjolras without it devolving into a screaming match.
