Summary
In a world much like our own, the people have given their favor to a group of heroes named The Vanguard that are sworn to protect a mega-city of millions from the villains that vow to control it. It is with these two groups that Chris, codename Porter, finds himself in the middle of a war. Within this war he finds an unexpected ally and discovers the reality behind it all.
