Summary
“Dance with me?” Angel asks, holding a hand out in a manner reminiscent of a commoner professing their love for a royal. He bows like a ballroom dancer offering a partnership, giggling to himself the whole way down.
The question freezes Husk. Images of his father flood him, a distant memory of him slow-dancing with his mother around the kitchen table, smiling and giggling just minutes before...
Husk doesn't dance. Not like that.
