“The Senate is getting antsy, Obi-Wan. They’re thinking of bringing in a ‘more effective’ means of dealing with the city,” Mace says. He has the courtesy to not be too obvious with his worry, but his voice is clipped just enough to tell. The slight furrow of his brow is from general stress, though. They all wear that expression.
“What might that be?” Obi-Wan asks, scoffing.
“Wiping it off the map. The vote was quite clear; I don’t think they’ve raised a specific method yet but I assume orbital bombardment is on the table.”
