Summary
"So...you named yourself Invincible, yet you've had your ass thoroughly beat on more than one occasion?"
Mark huffed softly at the inquisitive tone of the other boy, a light flare of embarrassment--maybe even amusement--dusting his cheeks as he leaned back on his palms; the rough texture of cement a dull pressure to the pads of his fingers where they protruded from his gloves. The two were sat upon one of the many skyscrapers in the city, a brief respite from fighting crime for the past hour or two.
"I- well, I thought it was a good name at the time! And it sounds cool," he argued, head tilting to look every other way than Casey, the dim shine of the setting sun glinting off his mask's goggles. Lifting his arms, Mark crossed the limbs over his lean chest, the movement smudging a bit of dirt that had rooted itself in the blue stripe that curved beneath the chest of his suit.
Casey only managed a small head tilt at Mark's tone, a hint of defense bleeding through. It made the boy's lips curve slightly. "Well, least it's easy to pronounce--can't say the same for mine."
---
Or, a story in which Cecil ends up finding a use for Mark's blood after all--an asset at his complete beck and call.

Summary
After an eternity in Hell, Cell finds himself spat into a foreign universe—whole, powerful, and utterly hollow. Perfection means nothing here. No Androids to absorb. No Saiyans to conquer. Just an endless drift through worlds that bore him... until they don’t.
But Cell isn’t the same creature who once sought the Cell Games. Hell has reshaped him. The cruelty remains—not as a means to an end, but as a reflex. A habit. A language.
And when he finally encounters beings strong enough to entertain him?
Well.
It’s not their strength he’s interested in. It’s how loudly they scream when he tears it away from them.

Summary
“Yeah but I’m the idiot who took you with me,” Rex stubbornly said as he dug into his own open wound to grab onto his ribs.
“Yeah? How? You’re out of shit to explode,” Invincible gloated.
“I still have one thing left,” Rex retorted as he started to charge his skeleton.
“Mhm and what’s that?” This overconfident asshat asked as he dared to pull Rex in closer.
“My entire goddamn skeleton dickhead,” Rex triumphantly said before things went white.
Rex is given another chance and will make sure he leaves the earth with no regrets.

Summary
"Rex suspected Rudy wouldn't be so pleased with the body he'd chosen if he were to go through the same things that Rex had been made to go through back then. That was an especially dangerous line of thought, so naturally it was the one that Rex followed most closely."

Summary
English translation.
Viltrumita Mark was part of the vanguard of domination. It helped destroy defenses, silence leaders, eliminate cultural symbols that gave hope.
It wasn't pleasure.
Was function.
Most humans had learned to bend. Or died trying not to do it. But amid the remaining records, a name always reappeared.
Not by force. Not by skill.
But at insistence. By provocation.

Summary
Like speaking out at the family gathering, nothing you could possibly say would be the perfect thing, the clearly outlined statement that’ll have everyone agree peacefully. Sometimes there are just momentous tasks that humans are simply not made to succeed in.
This wasn’t one of those times.
This was entirely preventable.
Rex was entirely protectable.
Or: In where the teams reliance on Rex’s hearing aid proves deadly in their line of work.

The Imperial federation and United States fell to war and revolution and the USSR is home to the largest population of, and most powerful examples of, Metahumans and State Sponsored Superheroes.
