After a taxing mission escorting refugees to Vacuo stirs up traumatic memories in the tired Huntress, Weiss takes it upon herself to ensure her leader knows she isn’t alone. She won’t sit idly by and let her crumble. Not again.

No one thinks about that, leaving those in pain to suffer in silence.
Such is the fate for the once great leader of team RWBY, now but a fragment of the past and reduced to nothing more than a name. She achieved everything, but gained nothing. She was the best huntress in the world, but was now a walking husk. Burdened with the weight of the world and the fame gained from events of the past, Ruby Rose lives in a constant reminder of the trauma that led her there in the first place.

Just last week he'd almost had a heart attack because he'd thought he'd seen James standing in the headmasters office, but when he'd doubled back he'd found the place empty.According to Ozpin, past memories seeping into the present was normal, but it was extremely heightened in his case- he hypothesised it was something to do with trauma and anxiety.
Ruby- not Summer, not Qrow, not anyone from a past that wasn't his own- stood there, looking worried.
