Summary
“Do you… wanna talk about it?” Rune isn’t sure what she means by ‘it’- but whatever ‘it’ is, is clearly affecting her friend in a manner she’s rarely seen before.
“Nightmares are a bitch, so…” she shrugged, hoping to create an opening for Parsifal to share what was plaguing his mind.
“It’s not… it’s not the nightmare.” He shook his head, avoiding her gaze by focusing on the mug in his hands. “I ruined your life. It was all my fault, and I'm so sorry, and if I had been better none of this would’ve happened and-” The waterfall of words suddenly pouring from Parsifal's mouth is halted as Rune holds up her hand to stop him. -
