Gondolin is newly built, and King Turgon creates the Eleven Houses of the Gondothlim. Eleven brand new lordships, and yet Elemmakil fails to make the cut. Under the circumstances, he really can't be blamed for getting drunk as a Dwarf at Turgon’s very first state banquet.
Not his proudest moment, and that was before that jerk Salgant got involved.
