“How can I?” Amanda challenged. “You of all people should know how my experience has been with trusting people.” She placed her hands on her stomach. “Not only that, I recognized the attire the brothers were wearing.”
“What about it?” Wooly asked.
Amanda sat back up again. “On their name tags, I saw that blasted symbol. You know the one.”
Wooly flinched. “Y-You're saying they work for-”
“Yeah. They work for Hameln.”

After taking them in, they try their best to make sure they feel at home.

One day, Tessa overhears a conversation about how children started disappearing after a show she watched was altered since Hameln Entertainment took over the show. She decided not to think about it until the day her best friend Emma disappeared without a trace during their afternoon date. Although Tessa was scared, she still wanted to know why it happened. Tessa learns that her classmate, Rebecca Colton, contributed to the series as the main character, Amanda the Adventurer. She and other classmates were informed of the disappearance of her and her father, Sam Colton, which worried not only her and her classmates but also her parents. One day, when Tessa came to Riley's house, Riley walked out, leaving Tessa with food until she returned with juice. As soon as Riley left, Tessa immediately felt some force calling her. As she headed to the attic, she left her stuffed bunny BonBon to keep watch. When she reached the attic, the first thing she was was a tape to the show, but she did not know what she was about to get herself into.
