It is not only his passing resemblance to Sand that brings him here to ask him now: unlike Duncan, Sand feels no obligation toward Daeghun to not reveal anything that Daeghun, for whatever reason—for whatever frustrating, nonsense reason that only he knows or understands—has chosen not to.

This story follows the main campaign but focuses on character development over battles. You can follow the story (I hope) even if you have not played the game. The Sequel & epilogue are wholly my own creation, based on the hints from Mask of the Betrayer & Storms of Zehir though neither of those sequences of events take place. Romance, adventure, rated R until Act III, where M rating takes over.
Neverwinter Nights, Forgotten Realms, and all the places and characters therein belong to Wizards of the Coast, Obsidian, Atari, et. al. I own nothing but my love for this realm and its people.

When Nevalle turns up at the Sunken Flagon with an extradition order for Sand to send him back to Luskan, Duncan's niece suddenly gets it into her head that Sand is a Neverwinter citizen by marriage to her uncle Duncan.
Except that Sand is very definitely not married to Duncan.
