Summary
Desmond is reborn as Desmond Sand, Oberyn Martell’s fifth child and only son. With the memories of his past life and wanting to kick start a Brotherhood in this new world, he first needs to contend with the fact that his desire to save people means he ends up married. But for the good of the people, Desmond complies, especially if it means assassinating a few specific people to hopefully end the war.
Sansa Stark does not know what to think about her new husband. But he appears to be the only hope she has to get free of the Lannisters' grasp, even if that means moving further away from her home than she would like.
OR: Desmond Sand complies with an arranged marriage to stop another princess becoming like his Aunt Elia, along with it giving him the opportunity in taking down a few terrible people whilst he's at it.

In an alternate universe, the events of A Game of Thrones is very different from what we know. Characters alive, we know to be dead. The War of the Five Kings is playing out very differently from what we knew. Daenerys Targaryen's reign in Essos started in Slaver's Bay, realizations and words from her closest advisor have changed her course. Her reign just beginning. In Westeros, the war ravages strong with blood spilled often. Alliances have to be made, chances have to be taken, and trust is less than skin deep.
Settling in Meereen, Daenerys must face the misactions in her past in Yunkai and Astapor. In this universe, she is not alone. Her good brother Viserys is by her side and her loyal supporter. Lord Commander Jeor Mormont sends Jon Snow south, all the way south, instead of bringing him on the Great Ranging. The Watch needs more supplies and men than they have gotten, and Mormont changes Snow with visiting the great Houses of Westros to plead their case in person.
He is to start from as far South as there is, and work his way North.
And right away in Dorne, he will find another lone wolf.~~~
In an alternate universe where the timeline is whatever it needs to be, Oberyn got Sansa out of King's Landing, and Jon Snow is an honourable as his father.

Divergence from Season 2: Remember when Tyrion offered Mrycella's hand in marriage as a plot, to find out who was loyal to Cersei; out of Littlefinger, Pycelle and Varys? The Queen only found out about the suggestion that Pycelle learnt about.
But the suitor Tyrion suggested to Varys was Theon Greyjoy. What if he had offered Theon to Myrcella, via Pycelle instead? This story explores that minor change, and all the repercussions it could have had, cause 8x03 and 8x04 broke me.

Sansa jumps from Winterfell's walls alone, sure that she'll die before she can escape the North. Instead she makes it to White Harbor, and from there she sails to Dorne, for Dornishmen are likely the only ones in Westeros who will not immediately return her to the Lannisters or to the Boltons. Once in Dorne Sansa realizes that there are some places on earth where women are free: free to come and go, free to learn new skills, and free to take lovers whenever and however they please.
