One fateful night, he passed an old beggar woman's hut. She had nothing, save for a beautiful clockwork rose displayed in her window. Each petal-shaped gear clicked and whirred in perfect rhythm. Enchanted by its beauty, he took it for his own.

Summary
This story is heavily inspired by the song "Willie Taylor" by the Longest Johns. The song describes a woman whose lover is torn from her arms before they can wed and the desperate actions she takes trying to find him again. I began to wonder how the Treasure Planet story might be different if Captain Amelia had been that woman, and how she might treat John Silver differently if she knew he was a pirate from her early days in the Royal Navy. We will see Amelia's past, catch up to Jim Hawkins's present, and hopefully the future for the two of them after changes from the story in the movie. This story WILL have a romance between Jim and Amelia, one change I'm making is that Jim turns 18 two weeks into the voyage to Treasure Planet. I will have verses of the song that inspired the story scattered throughout the chapters, I hope you all enjoy seeing how I took inspiration from one into the other.

After being sent by the Navy to investigate a disturbing number of reports for merchants being attacked around a small cluster of islands on the planet of Luthea, the RLS Victory is shot out of the sky directly above an ocean.
The crew escapes, but Jim and Onyx are stranded in a longboat and forced to sail to the nearest port – which just so happens to be the one that shot the missiles that took their ship down.
Upon reaching the small island, they are taken to the town of Negaijima, where they get the feeling that something is very off, and it all centers around Heart’s Desire Pleasure House, the town’s brothel, and that the mayor, Mr. Honda, is hiding some illegal goings on while trying to maintain the image of a perfect, peaceful oasis.

(Takes place a few months after the events of Treasure Planet)
2 brothers get separated on 2 different planets while they were evacuating from their home planet; One brother got stranded on Ursa, and the other brother got stranded on Montressor.
Denahi ended up stuck in Ursa while on the run from police after he was wrongfully put on the Terran Empire's watchlist, and Kenai ended up in Montressor days after he and his brothers were involved in an explosion that almost killed them (well, sorta, but one brother was killed pre-explosion).
But when Denahi meets John Silver and Kenai meets Jim Hawkins, they both regain hope of getting to where they need to go, and both pairs work together to try and figure out how to get to that planet in the first place.
But of course, with figuring out these plans, there'll always be obstacles, and there were certainly obstacles when it comes to these four.
Will they make it on time? Or will it be too late to do anything once their chance finally arrives?
