Summary
In times of crisis, people get left behind. It's inevitable. They tend to be the elderly, the disabled, the sick and infirm; They are assumed to be the first to fall to the violence, and are very likely to be forgotten or discarded by survivors. It's practically a law for the end of the world: if you depend on anyone else to live? You are a burden, and your fate is simply to die.
A young man wakes up January first, 1999, on another day of his extended stay in Hollvania's preeminent teaching hospital. He and a handful of other similarly stuck patients are eking out a life on the periphery of the medical complex. But somewhere in the timeloop, things have shifted. His life, and the lives of everyone else left behind to fend for themselves, will soon change forever...
