Albus Dumbledore was certain that Harry Potter would be safe with the Dursleys. The wards were impenetrable, and there was no way for a Death Eater to find him. Until one does.
Except that the Death Eater who kidnaps Harry quickly regrets his decision. Especially when the kid makes his mark burn. Maybe this was a bad idea.
Harry's not really certain why the crazy person who kidnapped him started bowing and groveling, but he's just going to roll with it. This is way more interesting than the Dursleys.
