Summary
The relative harmony of Zootopia is still millennia away. The bronze age is a time of constant conflict, not only between species, but within them. In this age of xenophobia, perhaps bridges could still be built between rabbits and foxes. Or at least between one specific rabbit, and one specific fox.

Summary
The wars are still raging when the shinobi take collective notice of the bijuu and what that kind of power could give to any Clan Head crazy enough to tame one. Uzumaki Mito is still living on her island in the eastern seas with only a years-old, long-ignored arranged engagement to the God of Shinobi to draw her interest away from it, and without her wealth of sealing knowledge and her invention of the Byakugō - a masterpiece of fūinjutsu that does not yet exist - there is no way to bring the Tailed Beasts and their ancient chakric devastation to heel under human command.
That does not stop the Shogun from trying.
Senju Tobirama gains a new feline friend (?) with a rather nasty attitude, the Nibi no Bakeneko gains a small and squishy prison, and Zetsu is still an absolute rat bastard, but this time people notice.

Summary
Meng Shi had seen this coming since A-Yao passed childhood into young adolescence and had taken much more from her than his cultivator father. His face was smooth, with bright eyes and a soft mouth. He had her small stature, her thick dark hair which knotted in the wind, her smile. His father was there in the shape of his face, his nose, his wide shoulders, but no one looking at him could deny, he was his mother's son.
"What did she promise you?" Meng Shi asked instead. Her son tensed, folding his head into her neck and sniffling.
"She said she had medicine. For your cough." A-Yao, her sweet boy, willing to trade something that, if Meng Shi had a say, would never be sold. Her son was going to be a rich cultivator under his father, regarded as the prodigy he was, and marry a beautiful woman who will see his unending intelligence and big heart. She would make it so.
or
Forced to flee, Meng Yao and his mother find their way to the only sect that would take them: Qinghe Nie.

Summary
“I’m not deflecting,” Jimin says, lying out of his ass. He keeps his eyes down, doesn’t want to make it anymore obvious that his heart is going a hundred miles per second. “I just don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Taehyung’s lips tighten and he looks away, eyes back on the field.
“Interesting,” Taehyung says, as Jimin reluctantly follows his line of sight. “He’s still looking at you.”
Twenty feet away, dressed in his football uniform, Jeon Jeongguk looks away.
Or, Jimin and Jeongguk had a summer fling that extended into their senior year, Jeongguk is trying to make a move into official territory, and Jimin’s just oblivious.
