Summary
Naming Mel Medarda among her allies, as her patron, granted Sevika access to many resources in her role as a Councilor. The most valuable, far beyond the connections and funding and reputation, was Elora. Mel had been the youngest person to rise to her position and the single wealthiest member of Piltover's elite for over a decade. He had been her shadow for all of it, and Sevika had nothing but respect for a number two of such caliber.
When Elora decides a matter needs her attention, Sevika tries to work with her. And what began as a professional relationship has evolved far beyond that. Sevika hadn't expected to be susceptible to the same charm that made Elora such a good informant, but here she is, exchanging stolen glances during meetings and stealing away like the two of them aren't grown adults.
She hadn't expected she would look forward to seeing Elora first thing in the morning and every second after that.
