Sadly this is a lot harder than it sounds. So hard that there are barely any changes at all in the end. Your new family still ends up in disgrace and you still end up dead.

Summary
Three months after the very eventful birthday party, Shi Qingxuan is convinced she is a new woman. She hasn't vaped in months, and she definitely doesn't miss it anymore - if you ignore the way she thinks about it frequently and in the back of her mind, always matches her outfit to what vape flavour she totally doesn't wish she had in her hand. But inviting herself and Xie Lian to Mu Qing's apartment one morning shortly after Christmas, when he's in a slump himself, leads to an honestly innocent mistake. The moment Shi Qingxuan finds an old vape which was apparently hers a long time ago, it starts a downward spiral. This time will be different, she tells herself. She won't become addicted, she tells herself.
He Xuan definitely won't find out if she starts vaping again, she tells herself. So she does. (And he finds out, obviously.)

You won’t touch anything I don’t give you explicit permission to touch, and you won’t ask for anything that isn’t offered to you. Is that understood?”
Shi Qingxuan is panting, already squeezing her thighs tightly together; the sweetness of her slick permeating the air and clinging to it. She’s biting hard on her bottom lip. Shi Wudu tugs at it gently and pinches her hip until she lets go. “Yes, ge, I promise. Please, please, please, you’ve already made me wait so long, I might die—”
Shi Wudu hushes her sharply and exhales through his nose, doing his best to appear annoyed rather than affected by her impatience and her delicious scent. “You won’t die. Don’t be ridiculous. Gege will take good care of you, don’t you forget. As long as you’re good, you shall have anything you want.”
