Summary
This fanfiction attempts to resolve an MK 1 storymode mystery. Where did Mileena go during Chapter 7?
The narrative will begin with Shiva Ranatai, the lantern festival of Sun Do. Here’s how Dominic Cianciolo, NRS’ story director, described the fête, “It's Outworld's biggest holiday, celebrating the honored dead by promoting reconciliation and forgiveness.” These themes and leitmotifs will be explored at length in Strange Birds.
This story will focus on two relationships. The friendship and sisterhood of Kitana and Mileena. And the queer romance of Tanya and Mileena.
