Usually, Max would just avert his eyes the moment he caught staring on something. But at this moment, the desire to break eye contact just wasn’t there. To be fair, it was also the first time finding the ridiculously beautiful hazel eyes on the opposite side. It might be the lighting, but Max swore his eyes shone like a warm light that would engulf him whole if he stared for too long. Max figured he didn’t mind at all.
