Summary
Sanemi Shinazugawa was just a legend in the eyes of the modern day. The great deity who protected the hashira and cured the demon race. A personal guardian to the Uzui family, the oldest family members knew he was real as it was part of their own family legend that the family's grandmother was raised by the man. He was also written about in the personal journals of the other families. He is said to have disappeared when she turned 25 years old soon after her grandfather had died, only adding to the fact that the man was human. Even so, the promise that he had made to her father on his deathbed still remained in the back of her mind.
