Summary
A small and peaceful kingdom is threatened by a dragon, so Queen Fenella suggests the tried-and-true solution: advertise for a champion to slay the dragon in exchange for the hand of Princess Aurelia in marriage. But Aurelia already knows exactly who she wants to marry, and, besides that, the scheming Chancellor Lord Mountpleasant has some ideas of his own up his sleeve... which, rather alarmingly, involve summoning a demon from the Abyss.
