Viktor Nikiforov started blatantly showing off his soulmark when he was 16, wanting his soulmate with him more than anything in the entire world. Surely being seen on TV and winning skating competition after skating competition should pull his soulmate to him rather easily. Right?Katsuki Yuuri has ignored the pain in his back since the first time he caught sight of his soulmate's mark when he was 12. The Great Viktor Nikiforov deserved someone a little more special than a nobody like Yuuri, and until he proved himself, Yuuri was going to keep ignoring the pain, no matter how long it affects his life.
(Soulmark AU, when someone sees their soulmark on someone else (aka their soulmate) their mark starts to cause them pain until the two connect romantically, normally a simple kiss is fine)

It wasn't the words that caught Ed's attention. That was nothing new. Just another inmate crying for help that he wasn't going to get. The man's voice however was completely different. It was hoarse and cracked halfway through the first word, but there was a strengh hidden behind it that made Ed want to know who it belonged to.
He risked a quick look out of his cell and saw a small man with black hair that was being dragged by two guards. His face looked absolutely devastated and his eyes shone with unshed tears and unexpressed emotions. It seemed like the guy was holding something back, something Ed was desperate to see the moment he first laid eyes on the man's small frame.What if Edward and Oswald met in Arkham for the first time? What if Edward was determined to turn Oswald back into the feared criminal he once was? What if they developed a friendship born out of necessity that might become something more?

Levi has always gone through life with a bleak out look on things. To him everything was black and white, in the most literal of senses. He was diagnosed with severe color blindness when he was little and can only see things in varying shades of black, white, and grey. Eren, on the other hand, has always seen the world in its own beauty. He loved the colors of the world, and he was bound and determined to capture every aspect of it. On chance, Eren and Levi meet, and Levi's world topples up side down. Maybe the world is just a bit more colorful than Levi thought.
