Bruce helped Tim to his feet. The assassin was staring at Tim again; Jason continued to watch it with growing unease. “Why won’t they do anything?” He scowled, fingers twitching for a fight.
Tim screwed up his nose. “I don’t know! It just went still all of the sudden.” He mirrored Jason’s scowl. “It’s so creepy, it could at least blink.”
The assassin blinked.
