Summary
Nigel’s life spiralled out of control after Gabi left and he got a bullet in the head. He’d moved to California to start anew, but quickly let himself become miserable. After a drunk fight with a metal railing and stairs, Nigel decides he's going to get his life together. He finds an online listing for volunteer work at the observatory, and signs up. However, when he wakes up he doesn't remember ever making the decision, and decides it’s bullshit. That is, until, his friend Darko calls him and makes a deal Nigel can’t resist, forcing him to go. Nigel swears to be a complete and utter devil, until he meets his guide, Adam Raki.
