Summary
The so-called Great BloodClan War is finally drawing ever closer and closer to an end. The Clans are riding high and victory is expected soon.
At this point, however, hundreds- no, thousands have died to get to this stage of the conflict. The Clans have never experienced something so vast, so terrible that no amount of glorification can fully hide the true ugliness of bloodshed. Ordinary lives have been trampled, destroyed in the resulting war which has lasted for over a year.
Moosestrike and Tansysong no longer merely have to contend with finishing the war, but their forbidden relationship is laid bare before the Clans as a whole. Their whole reputation is put into question, especially as it's unclear to them where they will go after the war. Acornheart wants to support them all he can, but there is only so much he can do to both keep his leader happy and preserve his own image.
On top of this, RiverClan soldiers have gone missing on their side of the front...

Summary
The winter is long, but dying down.
The Clans find themselves in dire straits with BloodClan deploying newly trained shock troops. These troops are merciless, taught to use perfidy, and do not merely fight in fear of the Clans, they fight with genuine hatred thrilling in their veins. As of current, the five Clans are stretched almost to the breaking point.
But they must push on, take Ice's stronghold within BloodClan territory and cannot let up.
In SkyClan, the RiverClan liaison Acornheart is swamped with work not merely in writing reports to his Marshal and mentor, Leopardstar, he is also busy training several SkyClan trainees all at once. Moosestrike and Tansysong, his fellow liaisons from ThunderClan and WindClan, are unable to help so much, given that SkyClan's army is being taught the RiverClan method of squad combat, and being outfitted with RiverClan gear.
Rowanclaw has found out the truth- that his dear friend Brushlion is alive. But concerned about intelligence and the safety of her son, Chancellor Russetstar forbids him from speaking out.
But Brushlion lives. He is free. And he is looking for his way home.
