“I’m gonna make it one nice, hard swing, try to do it in one, because I like him. I just want you to put that in your brain and roll it around for a minute,” Negan said lowly. “I’m gonna kill Carl, and then, Lucille here, she’s gonna take your hands.”
“You can do it right in front of me.” Carl turned to look at his dad, shocked. “You can take my hands. I told you already— I’m gonna kill you. All of you. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow…but nothing is gonna change that- nothing. You’re all already dead.”
Carl’s chest twisted painfully. His dad wasn’t even trying to save him, and Negan sure as fuck didn’t care about him. Never fucking had apparently. He looked over to Beth again who looked pissed as fuck at Rick, like she was trying to burn holes into his head.

Maggie had been watching her mother die for the last four years as cancer ravaged the woman who raised her through blood, sweat, and tears. She knew that she’d have to step up and take care of her younger sister at the end of all of this but when the time finally came— the state just had to go and get involved. DCF states that Beth has to return to the custody of her biological father— a man named Negan Smith who hadn’t been more than a faint memory and child support check for the last ten years.
Maggie is pissed to say the least, to leave her friends, her senior year of high school, and her hometown in the rear view. But it’s just three short months until she turns 18 and then she gets another shot at taking custody back from this deadbeat.
She’s told it’s a blessing that the man agreed to take both siblings together… but after meeting Negan, she’s not sure if that’s the case. His eyes linger a little too long, his touch isn’t exactly fatherly, and the girl just can’t get a read on him.
Negan can’t help but take interest in the carbon copy of his pretty ex-wife stomping around his house these days.

On the way they met a few more people and now had a small group. She slowly grows close the the youngest Dixon brother, Daryl. When they get back from their hunting trip Daryl learns his brother was handcuffed to a roof and left in the city. But what had YN in complete shock and not knowing how to deal with it is the person who did it. Her brother was alive after she already Mourned his death. She blames herself for not double checking to make sure he was really dead or not. Luckily she has a list of rules and guidelines she has been working on as the days of living in a post apocalyptic world with the living dead to keep her busy. And it doesn't hurt to focus on a certain redneck too.
